Requirements
Must be self-motivated, determined, and hard working
Must have minimum of 1 yr. experience in the road or construction field, working outdoors in extreme weather
Minimum of 1 yr. experience in underground utility work
High school diploma or GED
Able to read and write
Able to read a tape measure & perform simple math equations
Must pass a drug screen, background check, and have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to come to work every day and put in a full day's work
Must have a Valid TWIC card & Basic Plus Required
Job Duties
Ensure safety of other employees and public; comply with all safety initiatives, protocols, and procedures
Operate equipment proficiently based on instruction from Foreman
Preparing utility pipe for crew, Cutting materials, Hauling materials, Hand grading, Checking string lines
Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all equipment
Performing other duties on the job when not operating equipment
Housekeeping at job site, Beginning of day set-up and end of day clean-up, etc.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull 75 pounds
Follow all safety protocols
Communicate with all involved on work that is needed and or being done
Follow directions and think through problems that arise
