Safety has always been part of who we are. It’s built into everything we do at RJ Daigle & Sons—from the way we plan a job to how we show up on site. And now, we’re proud to share that we’ve been named one of LWCC’s 2024 Safest 70 Companies in Louisiana.
This recognition means a lot to us, as it’s a reflection of the care our team takes every single day to look out for one another and do things the right way.
Every year, LWCC—Louisiana’s largest workers’ comp company—recognizes 70 companies across the state that are leading the way in creating safe, healthy workplaces. The Safest 70 Awards were started in 2008 to highlight businesses that don’t just talk about safety, they live it.
To qualify, companies have to be in good standing with LWCC for five straight years and actively work with their safety team to keep improving. This year’s list includes all kinds of businesses, from construction and healthcare to education and manufacturing. No matter the industry, safety matters.
Our team was also honored in 2012, 2014, and 2016 for the Safest 70 Award. Each time, it’s meant the same thing: we’re doing something right, and we need to keep doing it. We know there’s always more to learn and ways we can keep getting better. But we’re proud that the steps we’ve taken, big and small, are making a difference.
At RJ Daigle, we take pride in doing things right. And that starts with keeping our people safe. This award is a reflection of the effort our team puts in every day, looking out for each other, paying attention to the details, and doing the job with care.
It also shows that our safety culture isn’t just something we say but something we do. It’s part of every project we take on, from site prep to final paving. And it’s why clients trust us to show up ready, focused and committed to doing the job well.
