LA 30 is an important roadway for the region, connecting the communities between Geismar and Baton Rouge. With the continued growth in Ascension and Iberville parishes, this corridor carries daily traffic from workers, families and emergency services.
When our team arrived on site in St. Gabriel, the roadway was in rough shape with potholes throughout the project area and uneven lanes that made travel difficult. Improving roads like this is about strengthening the infrastructure that keeps the region moving safely and efficiently.
Our crews installed a 2 inch binder lift from LA 74 to Bayou Paul. This layer serves as the foundation for the final wearing course that will follow. The binder lift creates a stable base that helps extend the life of the roadway and improves the ride quality for drivers traveling this busy route each day.
Careful preparation and precise paving help ensure the finished roadway will perform well for years to come. Each step of the process is designed to improve durability while delivering a smoother surface for the public.
Every road project has a direct impact on the people who rely on it. Improving this corridor helps create a safer ride for everyone who travels through the area.
We take pride in restoring roads that serve the community and support the region’s continued growth. Providing quality work and dependable infrastructure helps strengthen the communities we serve while ensuring people can travel safely wherever they need to go.
